Everyone tells you that every child is different and must be approached in a different way. That statement could not be any more true for my two daughters. Cass is a pleaser. She is very easy going, and methodical. Lily, however much she looks like her older sister's twin, is quite the opposite. Lily demands to get her way on even the smallest things. She is impulsive, and would never change her mind, regardless of any new information presented to her. Case in point: this morning she wanted her pink blanket that she couldn't find, but was sure it was in her bed. When I showed her that it was in fact on her night stand, she wouldn't believe that it was her pink blanket. Let's keep in mind that this is a one of a kind pink blanket. We don't have multiples. She ranted and raved for 10 minutes about how "THAT'S NOT MY BLANKET!!!" because it was presented to her in a way she wasn't expecting. Such is the joy of reasoning with my second daughter.
She can be a lot of fun, but I have to be very careful to pick my battles with her. Currently, her new way of asserting her independence is demonstrating her asymmetry. She has spent the week wearing one pink Dora croc and one pink fuzzy boot. She refuses to wear matching shoes. This morning the pattern escalated to this.
But boy was she happy that she got to choose EXACTLY how her hair was done.
With my two daughters being so different from each other. It really makes me curious to see how daughter number three is going come out.

Funny, that's not how I saw her hair when I came home for lunch. She must have pulled it out quite quickly.
I think that is so funny how kids can be so suprisingly different. I have noticed the same thing with my girls and their levels of sweetness. Ally is so sweet. Taylor is too, but Bailey rips out her sisters hair for sport. Good luck with your third. Can't wait to see what will come with number four.
Looks like you're going to have a fashion designer on your hands. lol At least she knows what she wants, right?!
Each child is sooo different. Just gotta love their originality!
