Snow!

We got about a foot of snow today at our house. On the way to the car from preschool today, instead of following the path her teacher had shoveled for the kids to use, Cass went straight over the snow covered grass to the car. She promptly fell face first into the large snow bank. After that first taste of snow, she's been begging me all afternoon to let her go play outside. It took us about 20 minutes just to get her snow clothes on. And let me tell you, Cass has some really nice snow clothes. Not every 5 year old has a daddy that buys her Columbia brand snow clothes. At least she'll be warm. Mike has very refined taste when it comes to cold weather apparel, and nothing but the best will suffice when it comes to his child. I think he just wants her to look good when they are skiing together.

Anyway, I sent her outside, and she immediately began making snow angels, and snowballs, and throwing the snowballs. She is certainly her daddy's daughter and she was meant for Utah livin.
