A few nights ago, as Mike was driving home from a basketball game, he came up to the last major intersection before our neighborhood. The light turned yellow, and as he slowed to a stop, he was hit from behind by a drunk driver.
The driver's car was completely mangled and smashed. She was also arrested at the scene. She was what you would call "falling down drunk." She was on the ground sobbing and incoherent.
This was the extent of the damage to our car.

Mike was a little sore the next day. I was pretty clingy that day. Being pregnant doesn't help.
We are feeling blessed.

So scary, I'm glad Mike is okay and your kids weren't in the car!
Glad nobody got hurt. There is very little in life that is more aggravating than a drunk driver!
Does Mike have to go to court? That would be bad if he ended up having to miss school or work for it. Dumb drunk drivers!
MIKE--what have I told you about drunk driving? You really shouldn't do that. We are missing a crucial piece of information here though--did the Utes win that night? That would make it all worth it...
